PRE/POST CARE GUIDE
ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS
POST TREATMENT
You may experience some redness, swelling, bruising, itching and tenderness post botox treatment.
These are normal reactions which should subside within 24-48 hours post treatment, this may take longer in those with sensitive skin types.
Bruising may last for several days.

Avoid touching the area for 24 hrs. No rubbing or massaging the area for 4 hours.

Avoid excessive facial movement for 4 hours post treatment.

Do not lay down for 4 hours post treatment to avoid the botox tracking to areas other than the injected sites.

Avoid the skin treatments mentioned above for 2 weeks post treatment.

Avoid retinols/acid skin care for 3 days post treatment.

Avoid drinking excessive amounts of alcohol for 24 hours post treatment as this may prolong bruising.

Avoid exercise and extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Avoid blood thinning medication
PRE TREATMENT
It is advised to avoid any skin treatments including peels, microneedling, laser treatments for 2 weeks before and after your treatment. We advise that you avoid retinols/acid skin care for at least 3 days pre treatment.
We also advise that you avoid any blood thinning medication 1 week before treatment, always consult with your doctor before stopping any prescribed blood thinners for cardiovascular purposes. It is also advised that you avoid alcohol at least 24 hours before treatment as this increases chance of bruising and swelling.
Please ensure you eat a good meal before treatment particularly those who are prone to fainting.
