Microneedling which is also known as collagen induction therapy is the process of using a pen device to create tiny minute puncture wounds. These tiny punctures trigger the body’s wound healing response and encourage the body to renew and regenerate new skin cells. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastins which is key for youthful plump looking skin. During the treatment we use serums that are specifically formulated for each skin concern allowing the products to penetrate more deeply into the skin.

At Enhanced Beauty Aesthetics we use the SkinPen® Precision microneedling device. This pen is a Class 1 Medical Device (the only device in the UK with this classification), this is not a cosmetic pen. The SkinPen® is the only microneedling device approved by the FDA.
