Do not use retinoids (vitamin A compounds) for 5 days before treatment.

Do not use any AHA/BHA products or any other harsh exfoliating products for 5 days before treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours prior to treatment. No tanning or prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks before treatment.
If any extreme breakout occurs, please contact to reschedule, as microneedling cannot be performed over active acne type 3 and 4 (Please contact us if your are unsure about this).
If you have a history of cold sores please seek advice regarding prophylactic anti – viral treatment.

Please avoid blood thinning medication 1 week prior to treatment, consult your doctor before stopping any prescribed blood thinners for cardiovascular purposes.  

Please allow 2 weeks post any botox, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion or IPL treatments

Please allow 6 weeks post superficial peels, laser hair removal, resurfacing/ Radiofrequency treatments.  Please avoid make-up on day of treatment and ensure any self tan is removed.

Please remove any hair from the treatment are 1 day prior treatment.

You may resume your normal skin care regime 5 days after your treatment.


For 48 hours after your treatment you should avoid the following:


  • Makeup (Unless designed for post procedure)

  • Intense Cardio/Exercise.

  • Irritating topical products such as Retinoids, AHA/BHAs, Hydroquinone, or chemical-based sunscreen.

  • Hot showers/Sauna.

For 5 days after your treatment avoid the following:

  • Swimming in pool/jacuzzi/ocean.

For 2 weeks after your treatment avoid the following:

  • Spray Tans

  • Dermal Fillers or Botox.

  • Tattoo's on the treated area.

  • Facials, Skin Peels, IPL & Microderm Abrasion.

  • Sun Exposure/Tanning and wear sun protection.
